Who you are? Thomas Where you are from? Denmark What stage are you at in your trading journey - I want to find MY style of trading What's your background? I am a golf pro (trainer) so I have a lot of time for trading in the winther. From 2013 to 2017 I worked for a very big betting syndicate - started with the pre match betting and later on only live betting. So I have a lot of experience with "normal" match betting Why did you join BTC? I think its the best way to get better What do you hope to get from the community? a place where i can wxchange idears with other traders What are some of your trading goals? I want to be a full time football trader

Yes golf is a great sport. I turned pro in 1997 and have been working in different golf clubs in denmark. In 2013 I was working in one of northern europes biggest golf clubs, we were 7 full time golf trainers in Smorum GK but the club got financial problems an we were all suddently without a job. Then in 2016 I got a chance to be a golftrainer again and that in my home club. I took it and that was very good for me. Now I can teach golf during the summertime and trade in the winthertime. And i have just had a son Max 17 days ago so he will off cause have top pririty.

Welcome! I did become a member yesterday, so I am novice myself here. Interesting background, does that mean you do have your own odds compilation models? I have experimented myself in excel, but unsure if it is worthwhile since the competition from the syndicates and their data scientist is to tough. I am curious to hear your opinion about this.

Welcome to the group!
I am a hugeeee golfer, obsessed with it would be great to hear more about this!
When you said the pre match where you compiling models that looked for value for you to spot back to lay or lay to back opportunities?
Yes they have a pricetracker with historical price data from all leagues and all teams. My "pre match" job was to analyse the the historical data and predict witch way the prices move on game day and then play as much as I could on all the asian bookie, agents and so on. I dont have acces to that atm but the door is open for me if i want to work for them in the future.
