Who you are?
Dene ToplissWhere you are from?
Just outside of Louth in Lincolnshire. What stage are you at in your trading journey?
I've been matched betting for about a year, with some success, but the fun has ended due to multiple gubbings. My plan is to invest my matched betting profits into learning to trade, to hopefully be able suppliment my income when I retire in the future. What's your background?
I am a CAD designer for a packaging tooling company, specialising in the software development side of the business. I have been self taught programmer since the early days of home computers. Why did you join BTC?
I have been experimenting with trading for a couple of months and have become quite proficient at losing money unfortunately, so I'm hoping that with BTC's help I will start making a profit. What do you hope to get from the community?
Tips, strategies and learning from experienced traders. What are some of your trading goals?
I'm particularly interested in automation. I have Bet Angel Pro and being a programmer, I love the challenge of creating profitable automations. -
@dene-topliss Welcome! I haven't done any automation in great detail at the moment its a goal for next year as I want to maximise the split stake and a few of the other things here.

I've played around with "Martins LTD at half time" filter for selections and the advice from Martins " What to look for when Inplay Trading LTD (lay the draw) Over 2.5 goals Football" video, using Betangel pro automation for greening (because I'm lazy), so far, so good, fingers crossed, its proftable :). I'm sure that this is nothing new for you Guys, but it's a revelation for me. So far, so good BTC

Sounds like you have a bit of a leg up with your background from an automation perspective. I use Bet Angel Pro as well and find it very good. I struggle I bit to use it in play with markets that rely on knowing the correct score but otherwise its fairly intuitive.
