Hello from the States

Hey everyone - happy to join the community. My name is Sal and I’m from Connecticut. I’m an amateur speculative handicapper, and although there is a horse exchange in New Jersey it will be quite some time before soccer (my preferred sport) exchanges are approved in the U.S. My current methods lack definitive quantitative analysis and that is what I am hoping to improve through the community.
I work in Finance, originally in NYC and now in the suburbs in my home state. Despite my exposure to the industry I have 0 experience trading.
On the weekends I spend most of my time watching sports and collecting vinyl records. My favorite team is the Green Bay Packers.
My trading goal is simply to learn as much as I can and be the best trader I can be. I would someday like to travel to a country that has a soccer exchange and put my work to the test.

@salvatore-scalia huge cap space too this year plus a tonne of draft picks! Could be an exciting future for the Dolphins I just hope to God we draft a franchise QB. Not really had one since I started watching during the last season of Marino!

@ryan-carruthers I was researching punting strategies on YouTube when I came across your channel. I know how the cavemen must have felt discovering fire once I saw exchange trading for the first time... it’s just not a thing over here

@martin-futter love the sound of that! I definitely need to look deeper to see what options I have.
Fins had a strong finish in the second half of 2019 let’s hope they keep it going. The Parker/Gesicki combo can be really dangerous

Amazing that the states are getting into the exchanges @Charles-Cartwright might be one you want to speak with about horses & John Folan (It wont tag him for some reason).
