@john-dunne i love Barselona too.I was cycltouring 2 vacations trough that region of Catalonia,
spending most of the time in Barcelona.
The second was just a week after the referendum:)

When I first saw the woman in the evening, come out to the balcony directly next to my hotel window and start hit pan with the spoon for some few minutes without break,I thought something bad happened to her psyche. But when from cafe other dishes musicians joined,i realized that it was a form of protest.:D

    Hi,im Martin.

    Im from Riga,Latvia.
    Im 34 years young:)

Im on my second football season of learning seriously this trading art.
First i heard about betfair trading was some 4-5 years ago,but if i look back,i see that I was not psychologically ready for it.
There was no way I could maintain discipline with the state of mind of that time.

At this stage of life im jumping from working in Latvia and going to Netherlands after more money.
In Latvia my work area is related to culture and entertainment. I work as a light system operator, sometimes as a DJ. In Netherlads its are low-skilled jobs, but wih higher salary.

Some time ago, I grew and sold cannabis to a,mature, mentally healthy artistically oriented small group of people.
I am a passionate advocate of legalization, although I do not smoke at this stage because it will negatively impact MY(important note its individual)short term memory.

Not married. it gives me the privilege to dedicate more time to learning trading.

My field of activity was mostly football, but I have to admit that tennis is very attractive.I see many big opportunities there.
I used to play football a pretty serious level until the age of 18. Now I watch soccer often.
I look at it as an art form without being attached to a teams.
    I also really like tennis.

I was also interested in psychology.
I read the crowd directions quite easily.
Sometimes I am amazed at how simple, primitive manipulation it catches on.
It is clearly visible in local and international politics.

While doing boring work in the Netherlands, I was listening to the BTC podcast.
I also listened to Ryan's interview with the betting business podcast.
I liked the BTC concept, as Ryan described it, it really sounds to me that it's not for profit but to create a community where fellow members can support each other.

My goal is to make a living so that other jobs remain just for self-realization and joy.
And nowadays I have no doubt that by investing time and work, it is quite realistic for me.
Usually I'm pretty self-critical and cautious.
Perhaps small an advantage it is that living in Latvia today is not too expensive.
At the moment my salary in Latvia is about 1000euro a month. And it is full time work, which requires qualification.
So I think it's really realistic to get a similar level of income by trading.
Of course its first goal, but most important.
Because the ultimate goal is freedom, how comfortable it should be ,I don't think about it now.

But of course I don't focus on it in my daily trading. My daily goal is to develop systems for maximum efficiency. And find new profit opportunities.

    Thanks for reading!
    And let us all succeed:)

    Hi I'm Bill Liddle
I live on the seashore of Whitley Bay
I've been trading about 3 months mainly through Bet Angel
    I'm a retired house builder
Saw the BTC advert and after some investigation thought I'd give it a try
I'm hoping to become more proficient at trading through being mentored..I've had some reasonable successes having recovered my initial bank limit of 2K since starting.
I've been dabbling with automation with mainly on the negative side of the coin. So with assistance I'll be able to gain a better insight to this area of trading.

    What's your background?
I am currently a sales director at an insurance company.

    Why did you join BTC?
I was looking for a group of people who would understand me and I understand them πŸ™‚ I was looking for a place that would offer tools, knowledge and a willingness to share experiences.

@keith-anderson Ah yes, its nice at Ribby Hall. Its kind of in between the two places. To be fair its quite nice north of Preston if you steer away from Blackpool, quite picturesque, its just Preston city itself leaves a lot to be desired!

I was staying at the 'White House' in Ribby Hall - which I thought was Blackpool, but the address said Preston!
