Hello just joined up today after a few months of listening to the podcast
Who you are? Daniel cooper
Where you are from? Lincoln
What stage are you at in your trading journey? The very beginning
What's your background? I am an electrical engineer work for a large utility company. I am married with two young children. Betting wise, I had never been on a bookmaker website or exchange until 9 months ago when I saw an advert for matched betting. Having been matched betting for 9 months and made just over £4000. The offers are now drying up and it's harder and taking more time to make money from.
Why did you join BTC? To continue to make extra cash along side my full time job. To help pay for holidays with my family.
What do you hope to get from the community? To learn from experienced traders to help me become a profitable trader and in turn hopefully help others in the future
What are some of your trading goals? To find profitable strategies become a good trader and further increase my extra income.

Do you trade Cricket? ... theres lots of good info on the Cricket thread, where profit is almost guaranteed with the info provided by about a core group of about 8 people. Come over and have a look - especially with the Ashes about to start.

Where you are from? South east London, support Charlton Athletic.
What stage are you at in your trading journey: Been playing around with trading/betting for 10+ years. Ultimately losing money. Tend to stay disciplined for 3-4 weeks and then lose all the profit and more in a day.
What's your background? Sell building materials
Why did you join BTC? To learn new systems, discipline and hopefully to make some extra money.
What do you hope to get from the community? Insight into other ways of doing things, encouragement, help, advice.
What are some of your trading goals? To be profitable whether it’s £1 per month or £50 just to be green.

Where you are from? Wolverhampton...but support the local rivals ....West Brom
What stage are you at in your trading journey - Started Match Betting...but most of the accounts have been gubbed now.
What's your background? - Run my own Photography company for over 20 years, then covid hit... so doing that very part time...currently driving for one of the big supermarkets doing home delivery...
Why did you join BTC? - Have been following Ryan for a while...in a nice way !...and started using the lay 3.5 goals...which is showing some early results.
What do you hope to get from the community? - Continued support, interaction and profits!
What are some of your trading goals? - Make a regular income to help with living a better life with the help of the extra money...

What stage are you at in your trading journey? Just starting, though have done some match betting.
What's your background? Worked in retail from day 1 but its gets harder out there.
Why did you join BTC? Dabbled with the Betfair exchange and was looking for a way to make steady gains.
What do you hope to get from the community? To get and hopefully give ideas to increase my edge. You all seemed a friendly bunch. There seems to be lots of enthusiasm.
What are some of your trading goals? Looking to make enough to get some nice holidays.

Hi All.
I am Jason from North Wales.
New to trading, but have dabbled with some matched betting, so this is week 5 of working my way through Betfair trading.
Decided to join BTC having watched and read many elements and felt I need the support and knowledge of all you guys.
I am keen to learn and get the most from trading, I work full time but would like to invest more time over the coming months/years into trading.
I am focused on Football for now, it seems vast the amount I need to learn and move my trading into something that's profitable.
I want to learn and I am like a sponge with it all, I can be a little impatient in life, but I am really focussing on taking it slowly.

@martin Was looking at Tennis ready for Wimbledon and the Stats doesn't seem to work? I did see a comment regarding no major events but was looking at the ATP event Monte Carlo or is it the main tour events it covers?
