Hi Everyone
-
I'm Craig 37 from the North East of the UK.
I've been trading for the last 18 months mainly on horses and tennis both in play and pre race. Found tennis slightly more enjoyable with a mixture of success and failures usually due to poor discipline or overstaking (also had a few profitable months just not consistently).
I am also struggling to put in the time needed for trading tennis in play so looking at less time consuming options.
Looking forward to learning a few new strategies etc here, aiming to go at least part time at work by the end of this year. -
@craig-vaulks Sounds good to me, will look out on the private coaching as well mate.
That's one of the issues with tennis, then the games don't always start on time if the previous match has overrun which isn't always helpful.

@ryan hi Ryan
I'm thinking of trying a few of the set and forget football strategies, also back to lay with the horses. I have a other strategies in mind I want to test out, a couple with the tennis.I have a couple hours each day the only problem with tennis is it can be on at obscure times making it difficult to sit and watch it. Also in the future I want to have some strategies automated.
Will go on the private coaching for a more in depth plan etc in the next couple of days.

@craig-vaulks Welcome, great to have you here
Love the tennis as well myself. What are you thinking when it comes to less time consuming options?
-
@craig-vaulks same here!

Ok thanks will take a look. Yeah you need plenty of spare time for Tennis trading in play which as much as I enjoy it, I currently dont have the time working full time and having a young family makes it very challenging to keep the momentum going with it.

@craig-vaulks welcome!
That’s the issue I have with tennis, hard to trade it without putting a lot of time in live watching.
Horses and football are much easier for set and forget strategies.
Wrote a piece on bankroll management a couple of days ago. This might help with the discipline: https://betfairtradingcommunity.com/en/blog/betfair-trading-bankroll-management-set-and-forget-betting-update
