New Member - Julian From Croydon to Barbados!

Hey BTC Community!
I'm Julian, currently living in Croydon but I'm digging a tunnel to get out! Planning to live in Barbados with my wife and family, so trading on Betfair seems a perfect opportunity and an ambition that's been sitting on the shelf too long!
I've had moderate success with trading in the past, with football and horse racing but while I'm not really losing, I'm also not gaining either. I hope to fix that here.
I've tried a number of methods such as Beth Bet and Sports Trading Life with mixed results. I'm hoping that BTC will give me the breakthrough and profits to take my trading to the next level.

Seems there are a few of us traders here in the Cronx! Maybe we can catch up over a beer sometime for a get together of the Croydon BTC Branch? Dan, despite growing up within earshot of Selhurst Park I have to confess to not being a fan (Bromley season ticket holder) but please don't hold that against me

@martin Thanks for the links. Ive tried both with some success; Horses I've made money on by dutching and football by playing the 2.5/3.5 but I'm trying to raise my game. I just keep yoyoing the same £50 to £100 again and again. Its not that I really blew my bank that took me away from sports, its just that I feel I got stuck in a rut. Im seriously hoping to break that pattern and make some significant profit...to me, that would be about £25 a day.

Only attractions in Croydon are....er....well, leaving it probably! Bournemouth raised with the sound of the surf in my ears! Arrived here because my wife keeps me in a lifestyle Im accustomed to but seriously looking to move to Barbados at the earliest opportunity. Once Ive done up our apartment there, its going to be home for a while. Betfair on the beach? Oh Yes!
