    Goed evening every on ,

    Who you are?
    I am Marco

    Where you are from?

Iam from the coastal town of velsen . in the province of Holland,

What stage are you at in your trading journey?,
I started trading around four- five months ago with trading , with a bit of paying your dues i gotten relatively constistant.

    What's your background?
My background is Chief engineer on board a dredger of a dutch dredging company .

    Why did you join BTC?

I came across several youtube channels explaining betfair trading . and found 4 channels that picked my interest and got me on the way. and all four channels where verry friendly and actively interacting on their comments and questions.

So i joined all four of their communities and one of them is the betfair trading community.

What do you hope to get from the community?

The word community is important for me as every one has his own way of doing things and their own views.
Every one has its favorite trade method or sport to trade i never thought doing tennis trading , and yet now i trade ocasionaly on tennis matches.

And that is what i want to get out of the betfair community , experiencing new sports and ways to trade.

What are some of your trading goals?

My trading goals are moddest to be honoust, and people might laugh but earning an average of 125 a day in the long run . using as little stake as posible ,
In short becoming as efficient.a trader as possible .

Building a bank to make larger trades in the future.

@Ryan Yes i did , and wonderfull software , it took some taking used to the format but just wonderfull.
And inmediatly made some good returns.with it .

It also inspired me to do some research on my own when on average the last goal is scored. by teams.

And you may wonder why, i tested a laying the over goal market i had some good strike rates. its simular to backing the under 2.5 market . just at the end of the game.

Taking in acount the date researched average goals in a game scored you can make some good proffit with out to much risk and even maximising it,

@marco-frankfort on the software if you go to the game, click on historical stats, select home/away, goal times and Ave it shows the average first goal in minutes for home and away team. Is that what you meant?

As for the darts thread, I haven't seen one. There's no harm in making a new one and sharing your thoughts and strategies on there. If it's profitable I'm sure people would be interested in seeing what you do.

So far iam enjoying the BTC site verry much , looking at the football stats software reading up on peoples experiences , i do have a question about the football stats software. tons of information. I might have missed it but is there an average time of first goal scored/ conceded some where?

As i love to pair the time of fist goal scored/ conceded stat with the under goal markets.

Another question is there a threat Covering darts trade?
As i love that market. and is actualy my most profitable go to market.

@Martin @Ryan Thank you for having me .

The other communities i joined are :
    Alex Ong ,

it was one of the first you tube channels i came across explaining the basics of betfair trading . How to start football trading , doing research what stat sites to use , writing down and making notes on every trade you do . making folder of strategys and plans. sticking to that plan.
How to lower risk during a trade . etc

Then came across Betangel , Sports trading live and Betfair trading communities youtube channels and, found that all of these channels where verry interactive with its viewers . verry helpfull so its always good to be part of more than one community , learning from as many people as posible .and sharing as much as experiance as posible.

@marco-frankfort I also enjoy watching the darts so would be interested to hear your thoughts.

I've also got into snooker over the past 6-12 months. I've replaced being at the pub with watching pub sports!

@marco-frankfort I like Darts as a fan but never been confident enough to think about trading it.

Will be interesting to read any advice you post here as I am fairly new to trading myself.

Welcome to BTC Marco. Gotta say that sounds like an interesting job, although like most jobs, I bet its not so interesting day in day out.

You have come to a great place if you want community. People here are really helpful and always willing to share methods etc.

Couple of threads that Martin set up to check out:

    https://forum.betfairtradingcommunity.com/topic/2698/btc-members-forum-trading-blogs-list-links-here

    https://forum.betfairtradingcommunity.com/topic/2734/strategies-megathread

I can certainly recommend engaging with people on the forum as there is so much good advce to be had here.

Best of luck on your trading journey 👍
