So when does the Premier League start again? Tough night last night for England but anyone who used our stats preview yesterday would have hit a 7.2 odds winner as it correctly found value in the 1-1 full time result and as a bonus over 1.5 goals at 1.61. As ever our wonderful stats software can be found here: https://betfairtradingcommunity.com/en/statistics?advagg=0

Not much football on today so the focus will be in Iceland!

    Grindavik v KA Akureyri -

    Key Stats:

    Correct Score -

    • 2-1 to the home side is a fairly common result 4/20 games ending that way.
    • 2-1 to Grindavik is currently trading at 11.5 odds (maybe 12+ if liquidity picks up) and looks value from an outright betting or trading perspective
    • 0-0 is unlikley 1/20 so again the 2-1 price should come in and be tradeable at some point

    Overs/Unders

    • Over 2.5 has landed 13/20 times suggesting it should be odds on - 2.02+ looks a value price
    • For those who want bigger odds over 3.5 goals at 3.6 also looks value with 7/20 winning that bet

    Back tomorrow!

@martin-futter HI Martin, can i ask if you use same opposition type when looking at stats or just all games in general and why you choose either way?

    thanks

reason being they play in the same league and have 20 results to go on so it should average out pretty well

    Cheers mate.

Doesn’t appear to be in-play, let the value run then, worked well enough last night.

annoying that as 2-1 would have been a good green when 1-1 at ht! at least over 2.5 landed!
