@Joseph-Henderson Not really, it depends on the horses run. I watch the race and play it by ear. If it has a good start in a short race(under 1m) I’ll usually get out pretty quickly though. @John-Folan is much more experienced and in a better position advise really, Ive been doing it 2 weeks😁
Depends on what’s happening. I will bail for a loss or small profit if horse looks like it’s going for it. Better safe than sorry and always another race

Just started a couple of weeks ago with small stakes for the time being.
One of the strategies I have been following is the Lay Under 1.5 goals setting on the software.
It got off to a great start but recently saw 7 losses in a row. 5 of which were games from the League of Ireland Premier Division.
I don't have much data to confidently make any tweaks to the setting just yet, so I was wondering if anybody else has been doing this one this season.
Would anyone say that that league is one to avoid in the future?
Or does this kind of variance often occur?
I am a Hammers fan by the way - still feeling sore after Sunday! 🥹
League of Ireland was poor at the weekend for SHG too.
Thanks for all your responses, they are great! These all feel like really good wins!
I also think other traders will enjoy reading each others answers, I certainly did.
@Tony-Hastie haha so much junk isn't there these days
The Utrecht goal came too early and a disappointing -1.75 points in the St Gilloise game.
Total + 3.15 Points
May - 1.69 Points
@Kurtis-Steven-Graham
Hey dude , I've changed alot since the first filter to narrow down too many selections, I'm currently testing and will reveal my finding very soon.
Are you struggling to find selections ?

@JON-RIDING said in Hedge out at halftime if the score is 0-0?:
Hi
Could anyone please tell me the best way to set a Bot up to hedge out of a goal market at halftime if the score is 0-0?
many thanks.
May be better to post on the thread of the bot you are using. I have a list of them here: https://forum.betfairtradingcommunity.com/topic/4078/automation-trading-bots-index/2?_=1714802511395
The other thing I would suggest is messaging the customer service team of whatever service you are using as they will be able to help you.
I'm way behind with TV. Literally just started watching Black Mirror!

@Shannon-Townsend well done on the cutting out of stupid trades, not easy to do and that is a massive step in the right direction!

@Tony-Hastie It's an impact value figure that tells you how much more or less winners each draw position produces, compared to what could be considered its fair share.
A value of 1.25 means there are 25% more winners than you might expect.
So for example if a course hypothetically had 4 stalls, you might expect an even 25% of wins in each stall if there was no bias. If one of the stalls gets more than 25% of the wins, its draw bias figure would be > 1.0.
It's narrowed down based on course, race type, and distance.
@simon-topper sounds like you have really grabbed the discipline by the balls! Well done mate, looking forward to the next update
