Aug 2024 £3000 - ? Bank Challenge

In case anyone wondered there was nothing for today on the filtered side which is good as it gave me a chance to do some work on it.
More big changes but these aren't knee jerk reactions. More along the lines of filters I've been looking at from day one to potentially improve things. I just didn't want to pull the trigger too early.
-
S/r and yield for anything bang on 80% over 1.5 had continued to go up and down and was no more than 77% s/r and 1% in the black after around 40 selections. Today I deleted them.
-
When criteria's 5,6,7&8 totalled to anything between 300-304 the results were pretty toilet on the whole. These have been removed so starting point is now 305 combined.
Not only has it made a difference to overall yield and profit but it has also made quite a difference on some of the leagues.
There are leagues which were bad and that point has been hammered home further.
There are leagues which were hovering and have now made the transition to full on crap!
There are leagues which appeared to have made a good start only to stumble of recent which have had that fast start taken away so they are all the way in the red.
There are leagues which were in the red but not massively which have been ever so slightly rejuvenated.
An then there are the leagues which looked good before and despite losing a few a winners or a couple of losers still look great!
Some leagues with only 1 or 2 selections anyway have been removed from the picture entirely for now.
Anything above 3.5% yield is listed in filtered and anything under that is for now only in the main sheet. These amendments have seen s/r shoot up to over 90% and yield to just under 15%. I'm not crazy enough to believe it will stay there but it does appear as though I have made the right call in the interim at least.

@richard-latimer I love the MLS so glad its back on, interesting that some of the leagues where you expect these to fly have been nosediving.
In terms of leagues where there have been 10+ selections based on highest yield now then Costa Rica is currently running away with it. After that it's the SPL and Fin Veikkausliiga.

Sheet updated. Got some overnighters in the states. MLS is back up over 4% yield so for now it's in.

@richard-latimer long day then!
Long and crappy day haha!!
Where to start.
Paraguay continuing to nosedive
Accidentally placed bet on Eng League 2 when that had been excluded
Norway now only just above break even
Brazil Serie A now in deficit and excluded.I'll get there but it'll take the poor days and more of the same to find the final filters.
-
@richard-latimer long day then!

All updated for tomorrow. Filtered and unfiltered. Busy day starts 00:50 in Paraguay.
-
After all that the only qualifier today was in Croatia and it won. Not strictly in profit until today but also only one loss and I'm not ruling out those just yet.
-
Made the single biggest change in months while still keeping things as per on a tracking basis. While I didn't want everything to be about yield it's kind of hard to escape on some leagues now.
Ecuador still in profit but yield for that league now down at just a little over 1%. Risk/reward ratio is it worth it. At those figures absolutely not.
With that in mind I've now streamlined the filtered sheet to include only those leagues at least 3% yield or above. Should one league take a massive upturn it will be easy to add them back in as I'll keep recording all data on the main sheet.
It only makes a difference of around 20pts to exclude ALL losing leagues and those with positive yet extremely poor yield......but crucially s/r goes from 84% to 87%.
-
Ecuador now just about in profit again after last nights failure. A good start for Panama although I fell asleep before placing bet while looking at how liquidity would develop.
-
2 games overnight but nothing in the day. Interestingly enough one is in Panama, a league I have no data on as yet and one in which most games are either not on betfair or don't go inplay.
-
Costa Rica is the new Paraguay haha!
-
Updated for tomorrow. Thailand and Costa Rica.
-
Took a loss today but staying away from English Championship still the way to go and saved further loss.
English League One still healthy but s/r has fallen below 80% presently. Quite how Wimbledon failed to score with 16 SOT is anyone's guess!
-
For tomorrow there's one match in Ecuador and loads in English League One which fall under filtered. Also one in Championship which I'm staying well clear of.
-
Did update today but forgot to come on here and say so hopefully anyone following was able to check.
Another win in the Allsvenskan. I did however start tracking the games with a total of 9 played in the season where only 8 out of 9 had gone over 1.5.
That was a loss although Romania liga 1 was already in deficit so maybe it was the league and maybe the stats.
I'll keep tracking these but no money going down for now.

Ok thanks
