Doesn't help with inplay prices but I've just noticed the betfair app stores BSP prices for prev races in the meet same day.

@richard-latimer Makes up for the greyhound disaster I had earlier lol. Strictly auto on greyhounds now! Don't forget Martin pointed out earlier about the 20.26 at Tampa Bay fits the criteria for ltf

The timeform table can work sometimes if you look at the outsiders. I noticed there were a number of horses not racing and the third tip (second was one of the absentees) was odds of 42.0 backed it and just let it run ( only £2) and it won lovely. Then tried again at the 18.52 and the outside timeform tip this also at 42.0 coincidently put up a good fight and went under 3.0 traded out.
Sweet. That's a lot of green right there haha!

Got greyhounds aswell apparantly
Cheers Dan very useful when looking to lay a trap number, I have been using greyhound-data for the percentage chance of the trap number wins with distance at each course. This now helps with deciding what price range I should be looking at. Just had a quick look and it appears between 3.0 and 5.0 looks good price to base on , below that it appears to low and work above you are relying on such a high strike rate.

I wonder if there's some sort of angle to take advantage of these ridiculous 1 &2 races!? There must be something surely. Trouble is I can't find a damn thing about them on the interweb. Maybe the dark web haha!
Richard...they are actually quite fun to watch. Those quarter horses can't half shift over a short distance. Of course there is nothing in play (just like the dogs) but you could mess around with backing steamers or laying drifters before the off maybe.

Is there anyway using the link I posted below we can pull the data we need for our laythefield research we are trying
Cheers
Dan
If you search back a week or two you'll find a couple of posts where I uploaded an Excel file with a sample of the data...this will give you an idea of what you could do with it.

@richard-latimer Ran it in simulation mode and got 3 matched but didn't record data as it didn't fully meet.

LTF
I notice the last had 3 horse at a price in the 3's. 3 matched. Didn't do it as didn't fit what has been looked at but interesting nonetheless.
Would be easy enough to look at...maybe in smaller fields look for just 3 to 4 horses within say 3 pts of the fav at a min of >2.9 and set a more aggressive trade point so that if you get 2 then you get a decent return?
Just set it up now to run on BFBM, small fields (so 5-8 runners) to avoid having two in play at the same time. Fav between 2.5 and 4.0 and at least 3 runners within 3 points of that mark. Lay to fire at 1.61. Liability of only a quid since have nothing to base this on!!
Nothing looks like firing in the US meetings today for me on the regular LTF. Will see how I go overnight on the Aus meetings. Have upped the min liquidity to $150K to try to get rid of most of the dross but it may mean I get almost no action.

@richard-latimer
Yes I was thinking of trying that aswell mate, as the earlier you get one matched the more time you have for something else to happen, waiting to drop from 4 to say 1.81,ain’t gonna happen quick but if you have a fav of say 2.5 might hit 1.81 earlier then get drift out and if it wins then so be it, could be interesting
