My plan today is to get hammered with one of my best mates, my brother and my cousin on a sunny Melbourne January afternoon. So I’ve taken the decision to remove liability now with NZ out to 1.24. Hopefully by the time I get that first pint Bangladesh will be still ticking along nicely and I can look at greening up later this afternoon before contemplating a draw lay tomorrow.

standard draw trims pre break
if you believe BANG could get 250 styles then NZ price stupid long term you'd be safe
and
if scored a total around that mark would take approx 70-80 overs out of the matchsee what happens would love this and potentially drip lay draw 5's
-
Had a lay of NZ at 1.12.
-
@james-woodroffe holding any further action for now
still on the back to lay of the draw
but yes a NZ LAY maybe rude not to few overs after lunch

@matt-ayles amazing drainage at the Wanderers and a lot of time the rain can pass or not show up at all.
That makes it a very tempting lay price then

pretty weak total by NZ in the end
there rate was ok
this be BANG challenge survive the new ball then look to rotate etc
would love BANG to get a score hereYou thinking a NZ lay or just waiting to see how the Bangas start?

Forecast in Joburg for the SA v India match looks horrendous as well?

Bangladesh were around 80.0 when I arrived in Melbourne yesterday now 20.0. Crazy odds to be before tea on Day 1.
-
@matt-ayles look to be getting out at a point and to hopefully flip and be on the lay pending play
-
I've been watching the forecast over the last few days and it seems to be getting better. No rain 1st day, so if England bat first it could only need 150 overs to make a match!
-
@nathan-bennett expecting the horrendous forecast to ring true?
-
Not much money traders wanting to lay the draw AUS ENG
looks like ENG avoid 5-0 haMissed the boat on this back to lay as far as big invest
I’m on the draw @2.2 for something
-
Yep can’t lay the draw NZ BANG just yet
In fact I’m on the DRAW BACK TO LAY with NZ batting try snag an early trade
Real stale markets . Get the feel likely to be to end of Nz first INNS

Changing the test match, granted a touch early, but New Zealand are 1.21 to beat Bangladesh, and the long range forecast is dodgy for days 4 and 5... surely that's low......?
So the forecast is now set fair for the match, and NZ are even shorter at 1.13! The draw price is huge so won't be laying that just yet!

Adelaide v Sydner Thunder.
Sydney hit by Covid, 5 first choice out. However, made a good start, but Rashid still got 2 overs to bowl.
Got a medium trade lay on Thunder at 2.3 with Rashid to come.Edit an hour later: Oh well, thats not a good start. Lets hope Strikers get away to good start - its a flat deck so they should be able to get close at some point.
Edit at end of match : Phew, managed to end up with very small red (pence) , after some aggressive trading ! Got out of jail with that one ! Adelaide are quite a poor batting team. Sangha looks a real prospect for Sydney. -

Despite a full day lost, another not drawn test!
Not to worry though, NZ v Bangladesh starts tomorrow night, 10pm (UK time).
It's amazing isn't it!
