Agree. I've been watching now for 2.5 hours and not confident on anything so havn't touched a thing.
Frustrating given how many opportunities there were on day 1.
-
Every bloody time NZ get short and consider firing a lay wicket falls
-
@Nathan-Bennett Could do with Williamson and Mitchell hanging around for most of today. Prices have hardly shifted due to steady wickets falling
-
BANG NZ
Next trade eyeing NZ LAY in the 1.4-1.3’s be nice and hope it spikes back up to evens at some point next couple days for a healthy divi for first test this summer -

BANG LAY 2.3 and will go again decent and LAY 2.0I was watching that, think NZ drifted to almost 4.0. Should of had a dabble but was well in the red with my LTD so held off. These are the bits i miss, and need to improve on as in hindsight, wickets were always going to fall.
Got a nice green from today though from LTD, hopefully a tail wag and a slow partnership from the NZ openers should bring more opportunities too.

NZ SP 1.6’s looking a lil silly
Be sure to fire some point
Happy to hold for now -
@Fraser-cord Im far from an experienced trader but I saw the draw at 4s a week ago so took all the liquidity laying it. A whole fiver but already in the green so thats nice...

TEST CRICKET TUESDAY
NZ BANG
EXCITINGYes, bring back the tests!!!
Start time is not ideal for GMT trading (think its 3:30 am start).
Any experienced traders got suggestions on how to still profit? My gut would be some LTD at set price points below starting price, hoping for a few early partnerships. Hard to predict much else without being able to follow the 1st few hours play.

TEST CRICKET TUESDAY
NZ BANG
EXCITING -
@Richard-Futter they threw out a friggin big anchor
-
Brainless batting from Australia, giving away two early wickets. Smith or Labuschagne will need to anchor the innings, otherwise it'll be a one horse race.
-
Could be in for a very tight finish to the final here. A smallish target for the Aussies to chase, and I would expect them to start strongly in the power play and bring their price down nicely.
However, judging by the Indian innings, batting will get much tougher after the first ten overs. So - providing the Aussies are reasonably short - I'll be looking to lay them at the start of the 11th over.
-
Nz chasing lastnight pushed the Indian market out to 1.20
I’ll say it again laying under 1.10 is pure gold
Just have to have targeted profits and be happy and or remove liability and free roll if feeling it -
@Nathan-Bennett had a quick look while getting my girls ready for dancing and saw some green! Kiwis 220 for 2. Will remove liability when girls are sorted. 5 min and 2 wickets later... back in the red
-
Yeah I’ll remove myself from the room haha
If wasn’t a kiwi the runs line was the way to make money
Held out hope for a wicket or two (prob same hope as interest rates not going up)My god some of the bowling
Southee f**k me useless
Just batting practice -
@Nathan-Bennett I layed India at 100 for 1. Its now 314 for 1 with 7 overs to go. Was expecting at least 1 wicket
-
Well my boys just have none with the ball
however
1.10 INDIA
Auto lay see if can get a pole or two hold the rate some and decent start to chase and bank 1.30 would be xmas me thinks -
History of late
NZ beat IND wood over them knockouts
SA choke to AUS
AUS then obliterate NZ in a final
…
Come on NZ find a wayHopefully launch at some angles weds night
Until then

Managed to lay SL at 5.4, so a nice little early profit. Probably won't be many more chances now as India looked nailed on for the win and it's hard to imagine the SL batsmen making too much impression on the home side's bowling attack.
